Star Soaked Homestead

Star Soaked Homestead

In this photograph there are multiple constellations and deepsky astronomical objects. Above the barn is the constellation of Orion the Hunter, whose belt is formed by 3 stars in a nearly vertical line. Below his belt is the Great Orion Nebula, which is an active location of star formation. Above Orion is a V shaped grouping of stars that makes up the head of Taurus the Bull. Directly above Taurus lies the Pleiades, which looks like a small sickle.
