Horsehead Nebula
The object in this photo is so far away the light took 1,500 years to get to earth. I created this image using my telescope and astronomy modified camera of the Horsehead Nebula. This insane part of the galaxy is located in the constellation Orion. I was blown away at how much faint gas and dust I was able to collect in this area! The Newtonian telescope I was using caused the crazy bright steaks of light off some of the stars. The combined exposure time was 3 hours for this photo.
